Taking place in the coastal town of Salou in Catalonia, Spain, this event combines a beautiful Mediterranean setting with a challenging race format.
Race in Salou, on the Costa Dorada. A great family friendly middle distance triathlon with a flat course offering a good possibility of qualifying for the Championship in Samorin!

The Event
Taking place in the coastal town of Salou in Catalonia, Spain, this event combines a beautiful Mediterranean setting with a challenging race format. The main highlight is the middle-distance triathlon, which features a 1.9 km swim in the Mediterranean Sea, followed by a 90 km bike ride on a fast, flat course that’s ideal for setting personal records. The final leg is a 21.1 km run along the coastline, which offers stunning views and strong crowd support, creating an energetic atmosphere for both participants and spectators.
The triathlon includes individual races, relay teams, and sometimes shorter sprint distances or junior races, making it accessible to athletes of all levels.
The next edition will be held on 11 May 2025.

The Location
Salou is a coastal town located in the province of Tarragona, Spain. It lies along the northeastern coast of the country, about 100 kilometers southwest of Barcelona. Situated on the Costa Daurada, Salou is known for its beautiful sandy beaches, clear waters, and lively tourist atmosphere. It is a popular holiday destination, especially for families. The town is well-connected by road and rail, making it an easily accessible location for visitors from various parts of Spain and Europe.
Getting There
Tour guests can choose to fly into Barcelona (BCN) or Reus Salou Airport. Barcelona is an approximate 1.5 hours’ drive to Salou and there are direct flights from various major hubs around the world. Reus Airport is a closer option just 20 minutes out from the hotel in Salou, however there are fewer flight options servicing this airport, although if you are travelling from the UK there are good direct options. Transfers are included as part of your package for both airports, please specify with the team when completing your booking.
