The Event
The Marbella Worlds consists of a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km bike ride, and a 21.1 km run. Although the course has yet to be confirmed. The swim portion will take place in the calm, clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea, starting from one of Marbella’s beautiful beaches. The bike is set to follow a challenging route through the Andalusian countryside, including demanding climbs and exhilarating descents, offering stunning views of the region’s natural beauty. The run segment will likely flat and fast coastal route, providing athletes with breathtaking sea views and an enthusiastic crowd of spectators cheering them on.
Athletes qualify for this championship by earning slots at various IRONMAN 70.3 events held worldwide, with top performers in each age group securing their place. This qualification process ensures a high level of competition, with participants ranging from top-tier professionals to dedicated amateurs, all aiming to showcase their endurance and skill in this demanding triathlon. The event promises a thrilling spectacle in a beautiful setting, celebrating the dedication and achievements of triathletes from around the world.

Event Location
The 2025 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships takes place in Marbella, a stunning coastal city located on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain, known for its beautiful beaches, luxurious lifestyle, and rich cultural heritage.
Getting There
Tour guests will fly into Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport located approximately 60km from Marbella. Tri Travel arrange transfers for our tour members and their bikes and luggage. The journey should take roughly 50 minutes depending on traffic
Location Highlights

There a plenty of great all year round golf courses in the area.
