Welcome to the Tri Travel Nice tour to the World Championships Men’s Race. We are looking forward to helping you in the lead-up to the event and guiding you around Nice to make your time in the city as easy as possible.

Tri Travel will be celebrating 23 years of our World Championship tours in 2025, catering for athletes, friends and family on our proven and recommended tours.

With an athlete finish rate of over 98%, our seamless travel experience and information-rich tour is a proven formula for success. Whether this is your first time to the world champs or your 10th time, Tri Travel will guide you through race week and help you have your best race possible.

The Tour

Nice has a unique and challenging course set against the dazzling backdrop of the French Rivera. Join our 7-night tour to acclimatise to local conditions get familiar with the course through group training sessions, with expert guidance from our tour leaders. Included in both our 7 and 4 night packages is a bike familiarisation tour, where you have the option to ride a section of the course, learning how to tackle the technical decent and best prepare you for race day.

Our Nice tour has you covered from the moment you hit the ground at Nice Airport and includes 4 or 7 nights’ accommodation in a 4-star hotel next to the start line, daily breakfast, bike support, group training sessions, guided bike course recce, tour merchandise and group functions delivered by our team of experienced and passionate tour leaders.

Throughout the tour, our team of experienced Tour Leaders will be on hand to provide support, advice and assist you with all your race week needs.

Mercure Nice Promenade des Anglais

The tour includes 7 or 4 night’s stay at the excellently located 4-star Mercure Nice Promenade des Anglais.

Located on the renowned Promenade des Anglais. This prime position offers guests immediate access to the Mediterranean coastline and proximity to key attractions such as the historic Old Town (Vieux Nice), the bustling Place Masséna. Next door Jardin Albert 1er, plays host to the race village and across the street is transition, ensuring you’re just feet’s away from a rest and recovery.

The hotel features 124 soundproofed and air-conditioned rooms, each equipped with modern amenities including a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a desk, and complimentary Wi-Fi. You have the option to select from a superior room with patio view, or a privilege sea view room. Bikes can be stored in rooms.

Guests can enjoy a daily breakfast buffet from 7:00 to 10:30, with the option for in-room dining upon request. While the hotel does not have its own restaurant, its central location ensures a variety of dining options are within easy reach.

The hotel maintains a 24-hour reception, providing services such as luggage storage. Additionally, the hotel has partnerships with nearby private beaches, allowing guests to reserve sun loungers and enjoy the Côte d’Azur’s famed seaside.

Getting There

Tour guests will be required to fly into Nice Cote d’Azur Airport where our team of Tour Leaders will greet you and transfer you and your bike to the tour hotel.

Nice Cote d’Azur Airport is situated just 8km away from the city centre and is serviced by a number of the major airlines.

If you would prefer not to pay for an airport transfer service, you can meet the team at the hotel by jumping on the metro from Aeroport Terminal 1 to Garibaldi / Le Chateau where it’s just a 4 minute walk to the hotel.
